Education center in Mallahdih, Begusarai

Our first project was a new educational center in Mallahdih, Begusarai for children under class 12th. In our society most of the families are poor due to lack of education, existing schools are severely lacking in basic supplies of educational tools like stationary, mathematical equipment, and classroom equipment.

Starting point

The first step to understand the scope of the project was to learn what shaped a child's learning experience in Bihar and to find out how we could make improvements.

Support from local communities

Location, scale, and accessibility was absolutely crucial to this project. We wanted to make the biggest but most realistic impact to the educational landscape in Bihar.

End result

Contextualizing the needs of our schoolchildren, their parents, and their educators helped us to construct a well-equipped, bright, and accessible place of learning.
